Rose City MissChief met Conceit while on tour with her former group Rose Bent while in Missoula, MT. RCMC had picked several beats fromJonny Cool and wanted to record to a beat he titled, "Clingerrr." Wanting to stretch her skills and develop cadences and delivery, all the tracks she picked from him were a completely different vibe. She knew that Conceit being New Jersey born with east coast stylings could be right for the track. Conceit was invited by a team member to a studio session with several other artist with Craig "Wolveryne" Warren at Rhythm Monsta studios in Portland, OR.
Rose City MissChief did not know where to begin, but after hearing Conceit on the first verse she was able to get her pen stroking. They later recorded a music video directed and produced by Head Up Entertainment.
Black Queen was originally written as a spoken word track in 2015 in response to Sandra Bland being found dead while in police custody. Later that year she compiled the piece with several other of her works and published a book called Rhyme Scheme Power Edition Volume 1. In the process of expanding her activism and creativity she had a vision to get some women she was inspired by in her community to make appearances in the video. This video was filmed in the winter and a snow storm got in the way of some of the production. She hired one of her friends and mentors, the late Char of M. Wray productions to direct and produce the video.
I thought I was working on my debut album in 2012 when I released this music video. In "Here With Me," I hired Head Up Entertainment to show the world where I had been on my journey and why it was time for me to take things to the next level.. My son made a cameo in this video.
I wrote every word I spit in this playlist, and collaborated with many dope artist that I know personally. Some of these are recorded over industry tracks and others are from my friends. Please see each tracks info for more information.

One of the rare moments Rose City MissChief performed a song written by another writer. She prides herself on being a crafty lyricist. When asked to be the recorded artist and performer of the lyrics, she was delighted and saw it as an extension of her artistry.
